Great attention by the sales team in appliances. However, the delivery and response to calls of inquiry were terrible. They promise return calls, which you never receive. They do not deliver on the date you set up; and furthermore don't bother to call & say they're not coming. They promise first delivery & then tell you too many people were involved, and they really can't do that. Very frustrating!
Having recently purchased my first home, Lowe's has become like a second home. We end up at Lowe's at last once a week. Everything is easy to find, employees are friend and knowledgeable.
And just to clarify, there is no other side of the story. My husband is extremely polite..almost too much. And I worked there at the return desk, so I know for a fact that they are lying. We will see what happens...hopefully it's positive. Otherwise we will be returning much more than a chainsaw.
So Lowes in Arden just treated my husband like trash when our chainsaw broke within the warranty period. We added it to our Mylowes account and they refused to do the minimal work required to exchange the product. All they had to do was look up the mylowes account number. My husband spent an hour and 15 minutes on the phone with customer service after visiting the store. The reason why was because the representatives were trying to figure out why the arden location wouldn't help us and THEY decided that it was because the store manager didn't like my husband disagreeing with him. EVERY OTHER LOWES IS WILLING TO DO OUR EXCHANGE EXCEPT ARDEN. I just went in to do the same type of return with a different product and they had absolutely no issue. I then proceeded to ask why the chainsaw was an issue. The woman who helped me decided to lie straight to my face without knowledge that I used to work there and tell me there was no way to look up the mylowes account with just my phone number. I then told her how to do it and she had absolutely nothing to say. We are waiting on a call from corporate to see what will be done, but for now, they want us to go to any other store to do the transaction because the store manager for arden refuses to help us. We caught them in a lie and they don't want to admit fault. I really hope that corporate sets this guy straight because driving to the next closest store will add at least an hour to the drive. It's a joke to let this guy keep his Napoleon complex and make us drive further especially since they all agree that his behavior is unacceptable.
Terrible customer service. We ordered a stove and was promised a delivery date. Well the date came and no stove. Called and was told they don’t know where the stove is. This has been going on for 3 weeks. Daily phone calls to the customer service is getting nowhere. Starting to think Home Depot will be where we shop in the future.
Found what I went for which was a rubberized leak stop to put around the base of my chimney. The self checkout cashier was friendly and helpful.
