It's an ok place to get supplies for pets, but many of the pets they keep there live in way too cramped conditions. Half of the store is devoted to dogs, so you'll only find basic things for pets like hampsters and birds. When I went to visit the birds, the parakeet's tail tips were bent from being in too small cages. I've gone before, and they kept both the male parakeets and the females together. However, on this visit, they separated the genders, but there was one male in one cage and then four females in the other cage. They only had green parakeets.
Courteous staff and huge selection. We also use Banfield Vet services here,v love them too.
The employees are nice and there is a good selection, but this Petsmart has the slowest check out of any store in the area. There can be a long line and obviously many employees around, but rarely is there more than one check out person. And that one person doesn't seem to think that it's necessary to speed up to accommodate the customers. On the contrary, the woman this evening was taking a long time chatting with people and trying to coax pets to take treats from her hand when they weren't paying attention. Don't get me wrong...interacting with the customers and pets is wonderful, but not when it's at the expense of the the people standing in line waiting....and waiting! Every time I've gone there (and I've gone at different times of the day) I have felt like I've spent an unnecessarily long time in line. Regrettably, in the future I think I am going to drive farther and go to Petco.
I use this store for all my pets needs even the vet in the back they are all awesome . Dr.Foster is an amazing vet calls to check on my fur babies really gets to know you and your pet. The store is always clean and well stocked. The staff is always super nice and very helpful. You never have to look for someone to help you because they ask you if you need any help!!!! Wouldnt shop any where else.
Not a place to groom your dog. I have a 12 pound dog been going there for 3 years now ask not to come back. Went to new groomer today said my dog was awesome. They need better staff in grooming.
